*SUNDAY WINDOW SHOPPING* H&M Garden Collection
H&M launched their Garden Collection and I stopped by to take a look. For those unaware, the Garden Collection is comprised of clothings made from recycled, organic, sustainable materials. I wrote a *Look Book* post on this event awhile back. Overall, the outfits were very cute. Also, you're helping the environment. And finally, since it is H&M, it's not too hard on your wallet. So here is some additional info. Scarves are $225 and they have sold out of pleat ones. Neckties are $98. Small Garden Party bags are going for $472 while beach towels range in price from $265-$318. There is no china. There are a lot of clothes, but few people are interested. There are limits to the amount you can purchase. Canvas bags are limited to 5. Leather is 2. And 5 for enamel bracelets. It's good that I had my coffee this morning because it is bedlam here at Hermes. The normally civilized have turned into a mob free-for-all as they walk into the 4th floor space. The enamel bracelet section is overcrowded with patrons. From what I can gather, the large bracelets are $306 and the thin ones are $267. There are a lot of Garden Party bags and leather good galore. But the items are moving off the shelves at light speed. It is a bit more peaceful in the scarf section. Below are photos of the bag section. More eye candy and details to come!

I must have been spoiled... Due to the recession, the last two Hermes early morning lines were anemic. Therefore, as I turned the corner on to 18th, I was completely taken off-guard when I saw the sea of people that had already amassed. It was then I realized, Hermes was back in its rightful place as one of Manhattan's greatest semi-annual sales. Speaking of lines, people on this line always seem to be different. It's like the well-to-doers all woke up and sauntered over to Chelsea. I can see septuagenarians dressed in Chanel and well dressed men carrying birkins. The usual "I'm really important, get out of my way" crowd even takes the time to stand in line. Oh right, the line...it's around the corner on to 6th now, at it's only 8:50. Oh well, will report back from inside the mayhem.

2010 Spring makeup
Since spring is here already, I wanted to change my makeup look. So I did a little bit of research on this spring's makeup trend and was quickly inspired by so many looks from the major cosmetic brands. These gorgeous looks, for instance, are from Chanel. Cute jellies for rainy days
Jelly flats are the perfect choice when you want comfort with style everyday, even if it rains cats and dogs. The best part is that even the expensive designer brands offer affordable price for their jellies. All of these jellies are super cute but I chose J.Crew's for the Mizhattan's Fab Choice Seal because not only do I love the sweet style, but I also love~~ their price.

People were buzzing about this sale so I decided to stop by today around 1:30pm. I was so glad that I came because it was like drooling over a celebrity's closet. I looked at each piece with an amazement. There were lots of chanel jackets and coats that were $1,200~$3,000. Tons of other designer brands such as Prada, Alexander McQueen, YSL, Givenchy, Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, and much more. Shoes, bags, and jewelry were also gorgeous! gorgeous! This was not the best bargain sale because it was hard to find a piece of clothing under $500, but you will find most of them "to die for". I was told by a SA that everything was 20% off when I was trying on a Prada dress. As always, I have more pictures.
