Party Girl

Vogue Paris fabulously put together holiday party outfits using head-to-toe H&M and I am swooning over every single look. Who knew wearing a fedora could complete an after-dark ensemble?! I also love how the stylist(s) chose to use black, white, and metallics exclusively to make these outfits festive and timeless. So, are you inspired?

  1. Yes, very inspired. And I am a lover of hats--except that they really do ruin my hair. But I am thinking black and metallic may be how I proceed this year for parties . . . yesterday I met someone who works at Saks who insisted that once I buy my first Prada shoe, I will never go back, which not only sounds like a dare, but a dangerous dare. Now, of course, I am looking at a black Prada shoe on sale and wondering if I will actually go into Saks (for something other than lunch and the toilet) to try the shoe on.

    1. I need Prada shoes too! Wish Prada would have a sample sale again :(

    2. Me too. I went to the last one they did--a long time ago, when you had to register by email. I was too young to understand the sale--just wandered around. But now I think I would know what to do. ;-)

  2. I like the "star" top in photo #5. Do you think its still for sale at H&M?

    1. Yes. I think it's $19.95. Liu Wen was wearing it in H&M's holiday campaign.

  3. Yes..I've been gravitating towards black and gold since the summer, which work better with my coloring than silver and cool tones..so I'm pretty happy we're moving away from the icy look this season:)
