  1. Returning from Lulu Frost. As of this AM, the sale is better this year than last year, though pieces are selling out. Most everything is around $100 or under and unlike last year, you can find numerous items from recent collections (Power, Supernova, etc.) I did a lot of Chrustmas shopping and thought the sale was worth it. But go soon.

    2. There was a lot when I left-but I don't know how it busy it got later. I'm so sorry I don't know about restocking.

  2. Not sure if I'll bother with Dannijo this year. It's always still so expensive for Swarovski. One year I saw one necklace for $80 but they only had one and one of the girls they let in to preview the sale (before the rest of us who were the first five in line) grabbed it. I don't know if this is standard for all their pieces or just for the other I saw but another piece I wanted had glue on it holding the pieces together. For a few hundred dollars. But I do like their designs.

  3. I agree about the Dannijo. I love their designs but think that they are way too overpriced and some of the stuff I bought broke in the first wear or two so I am dubious of their quality.

Same thing happened, btw, with a pair of Lee Angel earrings..I don't know if the sample sale merchandise is not what they sell at Bergdorfs, but I stay away from both now.

  4. Maybe the quality is sub-standard because they are "samples"? My guess is they create these pieces as design exercises and since they made them..."hey why don't we sell them?"

  6. I love this story! It's an auspicious start to your "big day." Enjoy everything--and don't forget to enjoy the wedding too, as it can be a very busy day for the bride.

    1. Thank you! Wedding is coming in 2014. Still need to get the veil. Will be trying the Vera Wang Sample sale to see what head pieces they have. Wish me luck! :)
