For this week's Get Her Look, I wanted to channel Oscar-nominee Cate Blanchett's character in Blue Jasmine. The Aussie actress plays a Birkin-toting Upper East Side New Yorker who loses everything and spirals into a mental breakdown. Cate Blanchett was simply superb in portraying the perfectly-primped role of Jasmine French and words can't describe how flawless her outfits were. If you haven't already, watch Blue Jasmine. Yay! The minute I saw this movie, I thought: "Mizhattan needs to see this." I thought it was exceptional on so many levels--and certainly sartorially. Thanks for deconstructing the look for us. I can't help but wonder if this film helped propel blush as a popular color for spring.
