Chanel Spring 2016 Couture

Last week, in a zen-like pavilion setting, Karl Lagerfeld presented his latest couture show for Chanel. The spring '16 couture collection, according to the designer, was his interpretation of eco-couture which combines fashion with nature. There were wood chips used as sequins and embellishments as well as bee motifs (embroidered on tulles or mounted as costume jewelry) which characterized the collection. Colors were also organic and serene with hues ranging from off-white to beige to other warm neutral tones. Click past the break for more images and some of my favorite pieces from the show.
