Bouchra Jarrar: Lanvin's New Designer

Last week, Lanvin finally announced the company's new creative director, Bouchra Jarrar. Although her name may be unfamiliar to many, the designer has a distinguished history of working alongside prestigious fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier, Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga, and Christian Lacroix. And in 2010, Jarrar launched her eponymous couture label. Expected to show her first collection for Lanvin this October at Paris Fashion Week, the Moroccan-born designer has big shoes to fill. Her signature styling includes a combination of masculine military tailoring and feminine couture fabrics. Here are a few examples of what we all can expect from Bouchra Jarrar at Lanvin.

    1. Hi Michael,

Yes! It's an impeccably tailored trench. Can't wait to see what she has in store for Lanvin.
