*SAMPLE SALE* Game of Thongs

It's time to give your intimate drawer a makeover! Manhattan-based lingerie company, Hanky Panky, kicked off their sale in Chelsea Market today. Offering their female clientele deep discounts on lacy intimates and comfy sleepwear, today's opening attracted an enormous line of bargain shoppers and I was there to take in all the action. So, let the game (of thongs) begin!

With a wide array of fantastic lingerie in various colors and shapes, today's Hanky Panky sample sale was bustling with ladies bargain shopping for the label's popular intimates. Starting with prices, everything was marked down to $35 & under. Hanky Panky's signature lace thongs, situated in the back right side of the showroom, were displayed neatly on the wall like a Pantone color chart. If you get lost amongst the lines of containers holding other styles of underwear, just look for the area with the most action-packed crowd and you'll find your way to the thongs. Once there, I found several Hanky Panky employees directing ladies to form a queue to start the ordering process. The process is simple. Each thong is tacked to the chart with a corresponding number. A shopper need only tell an employee her numbered choices and then she's ushered to separate area to pick up her brilliantly bright lace thongs. Easy, peasy. FYI, each thong was priced at $11.

Other lacy stuff such as bras, bralettes, boyshorts, bikinis, and Hello Kitty prints were organized in boxes and bins in the center of the sales floor. Bralettes were $10 & $17, bras were $25, bikinis were $12, G-strings were $10, and boyshorts were $13. There was also a nice selection of bridal lingerie available for future Mrs.

Chemises, PJs, camis, babydolls, lace tops, nightgowns, slips, and other sleepwear were located on the left side of the space. I spotted various styles from leopard prints to florals to houndstooths to zig zags displayed on countless racks. All camis were $16, tops were $15, babydolls were $35, and PJs were $15.
