Los Angeles-based sustainable fashion line Reformation is teaming up with Net-A-Porter on a capsule that consists of twenty-one party-perfect garments. In the collection, there's a strong 70s disco vibe going on with satin bow gowns, floral frocks, silky blouses, black jumpsuits, and velvet wrap skirts (Studio 54, anyone?). Prices will be $123~$390, and all pieces will be sold at both Reformation and Net-A-Porter starting tomorrow. It's been a little over a year since Tory Burch launched her sportswear line, and judging by the look of things, it's shaping up to be the next Lululemon. Vogue veterans Meredith Melling and Valerie Boster have teamed up together to launch a new brand that focuses on stripes and linear prints (something they have always been obsessed with). Their debut collection, available now on the label's online shop and coming soon to Net-A-Porter, is comprised of 50 chic casual essentials and includes everything from striped tees to work-to-weekend shirts to a straw basket tote perfect for summer. Ever wanted to raid Olivia Palermo's closet? Now you can! The perennial street style star has teamed up with Nordstrom for a yearlong collab and it's called Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28. The full collection launched yesterday and consists of thirty two wardrobe separates that have plenty of Palermo's signature style: classics with a bit of unexpectedness. Prices start at $68 for a button-down shirt and goes up to $448 for a suede trench coat. Two very British footwear brands, Bionda Castana and L.K.Bennett, have joined forces to create a capsule collection for spring. Known for graphic prints and playful details, Natalia Barbieri and Jennifer Portman (the design duo behind Bionda Castana) looked to the 50s and 70s for inspiration while mixing signature elements of both companies. This collection, which launches online and at L.K.Bennett stores on February 10th, will include six different styles of flats, sandals, and pumps. Yesterday, while catching up on my e-reads in the office, I came across Kate Spade's Spring '16 lookbook and it completely brighten up my day. Deborah Lloyd, the Chief Creative Officer at Kate Spade, describes this particular catalogue as "After a harsh winter, when that first day of spring breaks, how relieved we all are to buy our first flowers at the bodega." I think she really nailed the concept and it shows throughout this collection. I love everything from the Madison Ave Lisbeth trench coat to the rose pail bag and lemon yellow bow-back dress. Here it is! With tonight's release of the full lookbook, the curtains have finally been pulled back on this year's Balmain x H&M collab. To be quite frank, the women's collection feels a bit too costume-y and strong for my taste but, if you're fan of Olivier Rousteing's work, it doesn't get more Balmain than this. Prices are yet to be revealed but it's been reported that this collection will be more expensive than previous H&M designer collaborations. If Mango's new office looks for autumn don't get you psyched about going back to work, I don't know what will. From tailored office separates to the classic camel coat, the Spanish fashion chain is showcasing sleek, simple, and very stylish outfits for the new season. These understated ensembles convince me yet again that less can certainly be more.
Following up last month's sneak peek, Japanese fast fashion chain Uniqlo released the full Lemaire collaboration lookbook. As expected, designers Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran embraced their love for minimalism by keeping the collection clean with simple lines, cozy textures, and mostly neutral colors--a perfect collection for updating any fashionista's fall wardrobe. Prices start from $39.90 for a pair of Merino leggings and go up to $189.90 for a cashmere coat. The complete collection hits online as well as Uniqlo's 5th Ave and 34th Street locations on October 2nd. Nothing says "Hello, autumn!" quite like cozy plaids. And thanks to Target and their newest collaboration, we can get sought-after designer looks for less come this fall. The big box store has tapped New York-based designer Adam Lippes for a limited edition collection that will include more than 50 items embellished with the designer's own interpretation of, you guessed it, plaid. According to the company, there will be women's & men's apparel, shoes, bags, accessories, and home decor products with prices ranging from $10 to $129.99. Francesco Russo may not be on the lips of every fashionista just yet but he certainly will be soon. The skillful Italian cobbler has devoted an esteemed career to making beautiful shoes while working under powerhouses like Sergio Rossi, YSL, and Tom Ford. He is currently the head footwear designer at Christian Dior. Just two seasons ago, Russo launched his namesake label in Paris and, although he has kept the label very low-key, the designer certainly is on his way to becoming one of the most recognizable and lauded shoe designers. Just take a look at the brand's Fall '15 collection and you'll get a sense of his sculptural silhouettes and attention to luxurious textures that truly make his shoes wearable art. For now, if you want to grab one of his creations, you'll need to hop on a plane to Paris or choose from the few designs available at Bergdorf Goodman. Before we all take off for another midsummer weekend, I wanted to leave you with these gorgeous images from this year's Hermès été catalogue. I was getting a bit tired of the hot sticky heat we had earlier this week but after gazing at these beautiful pictures (not to mention the elegant and luxurious clothes) my appreciation for the summer season was rejuvenated. Madewell has teamed up with Parisian label Sézane for the second time and their latest capsule collection looks fabulous! The mix of denim, stripes, and other casual separates is totally laid-back cool. The whole collection might as well be my new summer wardrobe seeing how stylish, versatile, and wearable it all looks. FYI, the collab is in stores now.
