*SAMPLE SALE* David Yurman

I'm just about ready to assemble October's sample sale roundup but, before I do, I thought many of you might be in a hurry to get the 411 on David Yurman's upcoming event. This year, the brand's 4-day long fall sample sale will get underway starting October 6th at their usual Altman Building venue. As for the markdowns on jewelry and watches, you can expect prices to be identical to their previous sale held in March of this year: 30~60% off. Finally, if your schedule allows for it, my MizAdvice is to stop by on opening day as 10% of the first day's proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Happy Shopping!

Where: 135 W. 18th St. (bet. 6th & 7th Ave.)

When: Thursday, October 6th, 3pm~8pm
Friday, October 7th, 10am~7pm
Saturday, October 8th, 10am~7pm
Sunday, October 9th, 11am~5pm

You Had Me at Pink: New Accessories Label Pop & Suki

Model/actress Suki Waterhouse and her bestie Poppy Jamie unveiled their new accessories label this week, and it is simple, young, and most importantly, affordable. Their first line of handbags and accessories--designed to celebrate friendship--only consists of a camera bag ($195) and a shopper tote ($255), but you can customize these two bags in many different ways with your choice of monogramming, leather straps, charms, and tassels. The whole look of Pop & Suki feels a bit like Mansur Gavriel, but at much lower prices and a friendlier vibe which will surely attract the young fashion crowd. As of now, you can only pre-order through their online store as the official launch is set for November (items ship on October 31st).

*SAMPLE SALE* Plenty of Fisher in the Sea

Tired of wearing the same old jewelry season after season? Well, you know, there are plenty of Fisher in the sea and if you search carefully enough, you just might find the one (or more!) you can fall in love with at this week's Jennifer Fisher sample sale. Known for their edgy, sleek, sculptural designs, the NYC-based jewelry brand opened its doors to bargain seekers this morning and I attended the event to look for my possible match. Turns out, I wasn't the only one excited to look for a new season sparkle partner, as the venue was filled with good looking ladies picking up goodies.
