*SAMPLE SALE* Helmut Lang

I'm sure you already know that there is a Theory/Helmut Lang sample sale currently taking place in the Garment District. But did you know that there will be yet another Helmut Lang sale kicking off this week? Unlike previous sales which were held around Midtown, this event will be below 14th Street. I'm also hearing the sale inventory will be completely different from prior iterations. Included at this week's event will be Helmut Lang's very recent Spring '14 collection. So, if you haven't already, this is a good opportunity to shop and save the brand's minimal designs.

*STYLE CRUSH* Kristina Bazan

The next couple of days are supposed to be hot and sticky but let's take a moment to get our mind off the simmering heat and fast forward a few months to the refreshingly cool weather of pre-fall. So, have you given thought to what your summer-autumn transition outfit will be? Kristina Bazan, the face behind the Swiss style blog Kayture, created an impeccable everyday outfit and I'm beyond obsessed. If anyone is wondering what she wore in these photos, it's a J.Crew sweater, Citizen of Humanity jeans, a ChloƩ Baylee bag, and Chanel sandals. And to top it all off, she has her hair in a chic ballerina bun to complement her style. Magnifique!

*SAMPLE SALE* Bottega Veneta

The Bottega Veneta sample sale is back! Fellow Mizhattanites who attended last year's event will remember that everything from woven leather handbags to RTW to shoes and accessories were available in spades. FYI, I'm told this year will be no different. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how amazing the discounts were. Prices started as low as $25 for sunglasses, $100 for shoes, $250 for bags, and $50 for RTW. Now that I've laid out how great next week's sale potentially could be, I need to add one sour note. Although the sale is touted as a private affair, last year's event quietly opened to the general public on the second day. This time, my contact has let me know the golden opportunity that once was, may not be a guarantee. So let's just pray history repeats itself.

UPDATE: Bottega Veneta has kindly asked us to remove the information until a later time. This article will be updated when appropriate. Stay tuned!

*SAMPLE SALE* Hit the Jack Pot

If last week's Calypso sample sale didn't quite float your boat when it came to grabbing the perfect summer beach look, maybe you'll hit the jackpot at this week's Jack Rogers sample sale. Jack Rogers' iconic Navajo sandals were Jackie Kennedy's favorite island chic footwear in the 60s and are an essential part of summer dressing even today. I stopped by the label's summer bargain blowout, which kicked off in the Flatiron District this morning, to see what was what. So, did Jack's pot of goodies offer shoppers the jackpot? Let's have a look!

*SUNDAY WINDOW SHOPPING* Louis Vuitton (July '14)

Last week, you saw Bergdorf Goodman's equestrian windows. For this week, I present to you the full display at Louis Vuitton. The NYC flagship on 5th Ave isn't monkeying around when it comes to monkey business. The French luxury giant decorated their tall storefront windows with adorable and colorful simians playing around in the backdrop of a tropical jungle. So, let's get into the swing of things, shall we?
