I'm supposed to be on vacation but I learned about a noteworthy sample sale earlier this evening and just wanted to quickly write this up. Rodarte has announced that their upcoming sample sale will take place on Saturday, June 1st. Per usual, the company is asking you to RSVP at andy@rodarte.net. I don't know about you but I'm getting annoyed with this same old RSVP request. The label has clearly shown in the past that they aren't quick in replying back with the necessary info. In addition, they rarely, if ever, check names at the door. So, what's the point? It's just a bit too coy for my taste. Anyway, drop by this article next week and I'll make sure to update it with the confirmed address. If the past is any indication, the sale will be held at the Ace Hotel and shoppers will find an assortment of RTW, shoes, & accessories.

Before I head out for Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to leave you with some exciting news. Tory Burch will kick off their summer sample sale on Tuesday, June 11th. I'm told the 5-day sale will have a wide assortment of spring/summer merchandise--apparel, shoes, bags, and accessories. For those who just couldn't brave the massive line outside the last Roger Vivier sample sale or got in and couldn't find anything nice, here comes one last chance to shop for discounted Vivs before summer starts. The posh boutique on Madison Ave sent out letters to their most valued customers inviting them to privately shop the label's Spring '13 collection. This exclusive event will start on May 29th and will run through June 2nd. Attending patrons will find shoes reduced 30%~40% off. Though the sale is intended for VIPs only, there won't be any name checking, so feel free to drop by and save on some lovely buckled shoes.

So, this is interesting. The Alice + Olivia sample sale is scheduled to return next month. But for the first time ever, the company will host their sale at two (2!) different locations. One in Midtown and the other in Soho. Starting June 10th, Alice + Olivia fans will have the choice of shopping at either 260 Fifth Ave or 72 Greene St. It's like your very own sartorial version of Choose Your Own Adventure! Whichever location you choose, you'll be happy to know that the discounts will be the same at both venues. Clothing, shoes, and accessories will be up to 70% off. How exciting! For the first time ever, Southern California-based contemporary brand Vince will be hosting a sample sale in New York City. The label is best known for their casual yet sophisticated basic wears. Hosted by Privé at Chelsea Market, NYC shoppers will be able to take advantage of the "up to 70% off" discounts starting next Wednesday, May 29th.
