Saks Fifth Avenue's pre–sale started yesterday, so I quickly made my way there. My first stop was to their shoe department via the direct express elevator. It was no surprise that the 8th floor shoe salon was the most crowded of any of the floors. From Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Chanel, to Gucci; gorgeous shoes were everywhere. Shoes were discounted 30% (the Loub pictured above is $556- still not cheap).
After drooling in shoe heaven, I went to check out the RTWs on both the 2nd and 3rd floors. A very friendly sales associate informed me that almost everything in the pre-sale section (marked with a blue sticker) was 40% off. I found a to-die-for Giambattista Valli dress for $1,380 (again, still not cheap). Overall, in my impression, I would drop-by for some eye-shopping and wait for further discounts before bringing out the plastic.
