La Perla's sexy sample sale began today. This Italian luxury brand is known to create beautiful and romantic lingerie; so I was excited to see what their sale had to offer.
Arriving at 1pm, there were only a hand full of people waiting in front of me. But when I entered the 4th floor sale room, it was already packed with women trying to get their hands on seductively sweet La Perlas. There were laces, silks, and chiffons flying everywhere. Gowns, negligees, silk robes, PJ's, bras, swimsuits, and hosieries were thrown all over the place.
Two things to mention. This sexy sale was literally "hot" and "steamy" with no AC, but rather a huge fan circulating the humid stale air. It made for a rather uncomfortable shopping experience. In addition, the utterly slow-moving and poorly-situated cashier's line stretched 20~25 people deep.
Other than these shortcomings, I thought the sale was worth the trip. The prices seemed reasonable and I found many beautiful lingeries that will surely impress you and your significant other. Furthermore, most of the items that I picked out hardly had any damage.
