*SAMPLE SALE* Kiss Kiss, Wang Wang

At 11:40am, the doors were already open for Alexander Wang's sample sale. The space was crowded, but not packed (I suspect this will change as the day goes on), with fans trying to get their hands on heavily discounted goods.

This sale was mostly RTW. There were limited selections/sizes for shoes and bags (presumably already gone), but more on that later. Most items were from Wang's spring/summer and resort 2010 collection. From the designer's simple neutral-tone pieces to more eccentric ones, they all hung on racks and were organized by price points. The T by Alexander Wang items were mostly in boxes ranging in price from $20 to $50 for women. The low bargain prices was the best part of this sale. See the full price list at the end, but most of the items I picked were priced $20 & $50.

Many of us, including myself, were hoping to see some Rocco bags. While I was disappointed that I couldn't find one, I did a quick glance at what else I could score. What I found were a few Mini Brendas and Donnas. The shoes section was a bit disappointing as well. First, they only carried sizes 37 through 40. Second, it was a bit annoying having to ask an employee every time I wanted to try something new on. Although the shoes were affordably priced ($150~$300), they just weren't my taste.

Overall, they had tons of inventory and the prices were excellent. It's completely worth a trip down to Soho, in my view. And just to double check, I asked an employee if they would restock and was told "yes!".

MizAdvice: The 'open' dressing area is situated very close to the entrance of the space. So, it's best to wear something you can slip other clothes onto, rather than take off.
