Currently Coveting: Houndstooth

Autumn, with its cool breeze, will soon blow through the streets of the city. So, it's only natural to look for warm & cozy patterns rather than florals & vibrant colors. For this upcoming F/W season, my heart is set on the houndstooth checks. Why? Because houndstooth ties together other monochrome pieces marvelously well, and adds a touch of modern chic to tailored suits and glamorous evening pieces. If you're like me and loving these fantastic looks from Marie Claire Spain, I suggest perusing Salvatore Ferragamo's Fall 2011 collection, which has stunning examples of houndstooth.
