*SAMPLE SALE* Salvatore Ferragamo

Get excited because the Salvatore Ferragamo sample sale is headed our way. If you couldn't find anything at the utter insanity (but awesome savings) that was this week's Yves Saint Laurent sample sale, hope this info will cheer you up. I just received word from my contact at Ferragamo that their annual sample sale is scheduled to begin on November 15th. Like the YSL sample sale, Ferragamo usually offers significant discounts on their exquisite wears. The opening time on November 15th is still unclear, but if past Ferragamo sample sales are any indication, the doors will open around 12pm. I plan to update this article when I hear more, until then use your time to figure out how you'll be getting their NJ warehouse location.

Where: 700B Castle Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094

When: Tuesday, November 15th through Sunday, November 20th.

If the Anon 3 posts above this writing would like to share the info she received yesterday with her fellow Mizhattanites, that would be very appreciated :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Seems like that person is just messing with us, I dont think anything was released yet- why wouldn't they just say it if it was?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Let's give that Anon the benefit of the doubt, maybe this fellow Mizhattanite hasn't read the comments below hers yet.

And for my part, I will continue to keep all of you informed as soon as I get word.

BTW fellow Mizhattanites, it would be sincerely appreciated if everyone wrote their first names or any pseudonym, by clicking 'Name/URL' under 'Comment as:' instead of choosing 'Anonymous'. This way I can better reply to your individual comments without any confusion.

Thank you for your cooperation :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. thanks for the update, "anonymous!!" would GREATLY appreciate more updates. i am debating if i should drive out there in the afternoon.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sale shutdown. Cops blocked the driveway. Says fire code violated. Mayhem.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I was told that they are closed for today :(

    ReplyDelete
  51. I just dropped by at 10:40am and it is a HUGE line that snakes around the building and down the street. Easily 2 hours wait. Parking on the street is packed for a couple of blocks. Left because I didn't want to get fired for skipping work.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The sale is officially closed, it is a complete chaos, people are arrested by the police. Not worth the trip at all

    ReplyDelete
  53. Will it be reopened tomorrow? Thanks in advance!

    ReplyDelete
  54. The sale will be open tomorrow then?

    ReplyDelete
  55. The sale is closed today for sure. No one should waist their time going today.

Hi Mizhattan, would you be able to find out from your source what time the sale for tomorrow? I heard that they will open really early in the morning. I was there at 10.30am. Spoke to a nice lady, she said she was there at 8.30am, still could not get in and on the same bus with me to go home.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Will it be reopened later today? T_T

  61. The Salvatore Ferragamo Warehouse Sale will be postponed until further notice.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

    ReplyDelete
  62. For all the ones who waited and didn't get in, here is the story for you, there is one girl who was inside the store shopping while being told the store was shut down, she hurried to the register to pay for her speedy selection of goods, but was told she could not pay for it since the store was closed. She was arrested somehow in the end...

  64. I went yesterday with a Friends and Family pass. Got there about 10AM and waited on a line for about an hour. Once inside, was disappointed in the smaller selection of purses and totes than in previous sales. Shoes were ok for both women and men though. Even more disappointed in the higher prices compared to previous sample sales here. The nicer bags were over $500 easily. Then the checkout line was a nightmare- only three cash registers!!! Waited about another hour just to pay! They have to come up with a better system than this! Just fyi- this warehouse shop is open all year round on Friday and weekends. Save yourselves and go another time.

    ReplyDelete
  65. It was insane! last year's sale was well organized and security people were nicer, I remember I got there around 9 am and got in at 10:30 am but today was chaos, everyone tried to get into the line, everyone was really upset and we left with nothing...we also skipped work...not worth it

    ReplyDelete
  66. so, they decide to shut it down indefinitely??

    ReplyDelete
  67. Due to the large unexpected response to this year's Secaucus Sample Sale, we have decided to close the sale indefinitely, effective immediately.

Our priority has always been to provide our clients with the best possible shopping experience. While we are pleased with the extraordinary interest in the Ferragamo brand, the overwhelming attendance has made it impossible to provide this level of service.

We truly value your patronage and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

    Best Regards,

    The team at 700B

  68. I was there around 10:30. It was chaos !! The security guards were so mean, one woman was yelling so loudly you couldn't even hear what she was saying, then the cops came and told everyone to leave. I stayed in the area for a few hours, went to some other outlets, had lunch, came back around 2 and all the security guards were sitting out front and the driveway was blocked off with yellow police tape. I wonder if it will be closed all week :/

    ReplyDelete
  69. I was there and waiting on line with my items when cops said I had to drop them and leave. Thanks Mizhattan for ruining such a good sale. This used to be for the few who were lucky enough to find out about it. Because of Mizhattan's blog the world found out and chaos was caused. Mizhattan is a Miz-disaster for fashion.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I was truly sadden by today's events. I drove 4 hrs from MD to the sale. Got there at 8ish.. Was located toward the front! It was such a sad scene to see Grown Adults run and cut the line the way me and the DH witnessed today. There was definately no order. One securitu guard actually stated that they didnt have a permit to be there. Go figure??!!... But I do appreciate your updates Mizhattan...

    ReplyDelete
  71. It is not mizhattans fault! she tries to share all the good sale with everyone! is that bad?? obviously you look at her website to check out other sale. It is those supposedly "grown"women who don't know how to act during sales like these and i think its more of ferragamos fault that they were not aware of what could happen.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Mizhattan you suck!!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I actually got in to the sale, and made out with five full bags of Ferragamo at 11.15PM, just when the cops started to descend on the place. I got there at 5.30 in the morning and was 6th at the door. But once the women got inside, forget it, men were civilly looking at men's product, but you should have seen what the women were doing, the shoes and bags were flying, yelling, screaming, ridicilous.

  75. Did they ever reopen this sale this week??

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thank you Dimon for the info on the Baccarat sample sale. Would you mind leaving the address in the comments as well for shoppers to attend?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hello. Baccarat Sample sale will be hel at 36 Mayfield Ave, Edison NJ 08837. They will also have GIen, this time probabaly more than usual.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Is there a way that I can email directly w/ a Ferragamo agent?? Do you have an email address?

    Thank You,

    ReplyDelete
  79. I called Ferragamo corporate and they said there is no email address. Just send a regular letter.

    ReplyDelete
  80. It's really important for people to understand that the Baccarat sale is VERY small -- they can only fit 25 at most people in at one time. They are not able to handle hords of people like other sample samples can. Also, they have very limited quantities i.e. one or two items and they do not restock. I think it's important to set expectations.
