ALERT: Prada Price Increase

While shopping around Black Friday means seasonal discounts for most brands, for Prada it means a price hike. The Italian luxe brand sent out emails to their valued clients alerting them of an upcoming price increase on classics as well as the new S/S '12 handbags, luggage, and accessories collection. Classics such as Tessuto/Nappa Gaufre, Saffiano Lux, Vit Daino, Glace Calf, Nappa Antique, Vela and Vela Colour will be raised 10.5~11%. The bright side is that you still have a few more days until the November 25th hike and Prada will honor the current lower price on existing in stock merchandise. FYI, retailers and department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman already increased prices. So if you had made plans to head to Prada this long weekend, I suggest moving up the date of your trip to save yourself some money.
