ALERT: Hermès Price Increase 2013

Be prepared to "saddle up" and pay more at Hermès. The renowned French house is about to implement a worldwide price increase. It's been exactly one year since la maison Hermès raised prices on their exceptional luxury goods. For 2013, the company is planning a 7~10% hike. Europe and Asia have already seen markups earlier this month and the US will follow in their footsteps soon. How soon? Well, shoppers should expect to see new price tags starting at the end of this month. Not everything will go up in January, though. The increase will be a gradual thing where each category of merchandise will be marked up one at a time until mid-February. Presumably, highly coveted pieces like handbags & scarves will be the first to see the increase.
