The Chelsea Market showroom was in the midst of setting up when I stopped by this rainy afternoon but the kind staff gave me a sneak peek of the lovely goodies that will be on sale starting tomorrow. The first thing I noticed as I took my initial glance was that there was plenty of inventory. The Bruno Magli section, situated all the way in the back of the venue, was comprised of lots of current styles, a variety of handbags, and sample shoes(!) available in size 7 only (boo~). Prices were absolutely amazing. All sample shoes were $79 while recent collections were $119. As for what was available, I spotted bow flats, mid-heel slingbacks, and leather pumps. There was also a nice selection of $129 knee-high boots & sharp booties to choose from. FYI, non-samples had sizes in 35 through 40.
Bruno Magli's handbag section also offered a generous assortment of leather goods. There were over-sized totes, quilted satchels, structured shoulder bags, and office carryalls. Just like shoes, prices on these handbags were very very impressive. I was pleasantly surprised to see everything priced at only $99.
As advertised, the sale also housed merchandise from Rachel Zoe and Bonobos. Although I didn't dig through these two brands thoroughly, I did notice lots of dresses, pants, jackets, skirts, and tops for both men & women. Discounts were 65% off retail for Rachel Zoe.
This trio of sales opens tomorrow at 10:30am and will run through Sunday, so you have plenty of time to make your way to the cusp of MePa and shop. If you plan on attending, the best deals can be found at the Magli section but you should also bring your boyfriend/husband as there were enough items from Bonobos to go around.
