The location at 462 West Broadway has the discounted merchandise divided into 2 floors. With my first quick glance, I noticed the inventory was mostly from S/S '14 and had no signs of damage. I felt I was off to a good start so I decided to begin my inspection from the basement floor where jackets, sweaters, basic tops, denims, and leggings were situated. Jackets, coats, and blazers took up most of the space downstairs and were available in largely black and neutral tones. I spotted everything from edgy biker jackets to sleek one button blazers to zip up leather jackets and more. Prices were on par with last month's sale. Blazers & jackets were $199, denims & leggings were $79, cut & sew jackets were $89, sweaters were $89, and basic tees were $39.
After browsing the lower level, I headed upstairs where additional clothes were on display. Here I found daytime dresses, knits, shorts, and skirts. Some notable items included open knit silk sweaters in cream, roll up sleeve shirts, knotted-front jersey dresses, asymmetric draped skirt, and pink organza slip dresses. To give you price points, shirts were $89, leather jackets were $399, cut & sew tops were $49, and dresses were $119.
Though prices are generally higher at this Soho location, unlike the sale in Midtown where damaged good are aplenty, items here are in pristine condition. So, for shoppers who look for quality over grabbing quantity, this sale is your better bet. The only disappointment I came out with was that I found no accessories except for a limited selection of footwear priced $249. As a final note, I'm told replenishment on select merchandise is expected to happen throughout the sale for both women and men.
SALE UPDATE (7/26): A new shipment just arrived. It includes a ton of new products from the current Fall '14 collection(!) and a healthy selection of menswear.
