Shoes Galore at C21: Balenciaga, Céline, Dior & More

After checking out last week's Diptyque sample sale, I had the urge to drop by Century 21 once again to check out their designer shoe department situated on the basement level of the markdown mecca. Though I've found a cornucopia of designer labels many times in the past, I was quite surprised to find such brag-worthy names like Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Céline, Christian Dior and more this time around. Here's more of what I found.

Visiting C21 in the Financial District is like going to a buffet. Once you step inside, there are so many choices to drool over that you can easily get lost in the discounted offerings. High-end shoes fill up the shelves and include names like Casadei, Christian Dior, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Prada, Burberry, Alexandre Birman, Balenciaga, Chloé, Céline, Ferragamo, Michael Kors, Missoni, Sergio Rossi, Lanvin, Rochas, Tom Ford, and Saint Laurent.

To mention a few specific deals, Dior's blush pink ballerina flats were $400 (originally $690 & 1st photo below), blue satin peep-toe heels were $440 (originally $880 & 2nd photo below), nude wedge sandals were $390 (originally $640 & 3rd photo below), and metallic cap-toe pumps were $430 (originally $850 & 4th photo below).

For Céline, I spotted a pair of black chunky heel sandals for $300 (originally $870 & 6th photo below), oak brown strappy sandals for $300 (originally $770 & 7th photo below), bordeaux wedge sandals for $700 (originally $1,090 & 8th photo below), green suede espadrilles for $290 (originally $450 & 9th photo below), and metal heeled slingback sandals for $700 (originally $1,150 & 10th photo below).

There was a nice selection of Balenciaga footwear as well. Pink studded flat sandals were $220 (originally $570 & 12th photo below), black peep-toe slingbacks were $400 (originally $620 & 13th photo below), and black studded multi-strap sandals were marked down to $500 (originally $900 & 14th photo below).

In the Chloé shelves, I saw sage green scalloped flats going for $230 (originally $650 & 16th photo below), fringe canvas cork wedges for $240 (originally $675 & 17th photo below), and snakeskin flats for $200 (originally $500 & 18th photo below).

Other interesting designer deals included Saint Laurent's amber platform sandals marked down to $500 (originally $830 & 19th photo below), black studded slingback pumps for $700 (originally $1,150 & 20th photo below), and black kitten heel pumps for 430 (originally $670 & 21st photo below). There were also Tom Ford brown lace-up booties for $1,000 (originally $1,680 & 22nd photo below), black grommet detailed booties for $1,000 (originally $1,610 & 23rd photo below), and zipper sandals for $800 (originally $1,310 & 24th photo below)

Although discounts weren't mind-blowing, if you happen to be in the neighborhood or in the market for some decent deals on designer shoes, it might be worth browsing through their shoe department. I mean, how often do you find Christian Dior on sale?
