Best of Valentino by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli

Having worked as an accessories designer at Valentino for over a decade, and then taking the helm as co-creative director in 2008, Maria Grazia Chiuri is now moving onto storied Parisian fashion house Dior. The announcement broke last week during Paris Couture Week and I can't be more thrilled with the brand's first-ever appointment of a female couturier. With longtime design partner Pierpaolo Piccioli, Chiuri breathed fresh artistic energy into Valentino with fluid lines, romantic details, and the brand's now-iconic rockstud accessories. So, while we eagerly anticipate her debut collection for Dior, I thought this would be a good time to take a look back at Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli's tenure at the Italian house. You can also find more of Valentino's incredible past collections from previous articles: here, here, here, and here.
