As of last Thursday, the Spring 2017 New York Fashion Week came to a close. Although there were several fashion houses experimenting with the "see-now, buy-now" runway for the first time this year (Tom Ford, Thakoon, Rebecca Minkoff, and Ralph Lauren), the majority of brands decided to stick with the traditional route and let audience preview next year's spring trends before they land in stores. And speaking of next year trends, there will be ruffles, colorful stripes, bra tops, deconstructed shapes, and 80s influences come spring. With that being said, let's talk a little about who stood out from this week-long fashion festivity. My fab five favorites were Delpozo, Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, and Proenza Schouler. Above are the curated highlights from these five shows.
