Smoky eyes was the most popular makeup trend at the Oscars. There is nothing sexier and more dramatic than the classic smoky eye look. Unfortunately, many of us still struggle to get that perfect look. Follow these easy steps from the experts.STEP ONE
Apply a light shade of concealer to the under eye area, then all over the top lid.
STEP TWO
Line both the top and bottom rims with an eye pencil. If you have small eyes, apply liner starting from the middle to the outside of the eye. If you have big eyes, line from corner to corner.
STEP THREE
Soften the edges of the eye pencil line with a Q-tip. Apply a dark shadow using a sponge-tip applicator, smudge Q-tip directly over the penciled area and smudge.
STEP FOUR
Apply lighter shadow in a neutral tone with a larger eye shadow brush. Circling the entire eye area, make sure to soften outward. Apply mascara.
STEP FIVE
Brush away and clean up any shadow that has fallen below the eye.
