Arriving at the Judith Leiber sample sale, my eyes were nearly blinded by all the sparkling evening clutches lined up under the bright lights of the showroom; like gems at a fine jewelry store. But like gems, I soon realized, the prices weren't so forgiving. Seems the bargain of them all was a small clutch going for $505.
