REMINDER: Classic Chanel Price Increase 2011

As I first reported last week, there will be a significant price hike on Chanel classic flaps & 2.55/Reissues come the 1st of June. In case you're interested in purchasing any of these classic beauties, you now have 2 weeks to save yourself a little dough. I did some inventory research to help those interested in locating one of these precious bags. Inventory listed below is as of yesterday, May 15th:

Chanel flagship (15 E. 57th Street): Black maxi flaps with silver hardware in both lambskin & caviar are available. As for 2.55s, the boutique has both small & large in black patent with silver hardware.
Soho boutique (139 Spring Street): No classic flaps. They only have black patent 2.55s with silver hardware in large & extra large.

MizAdvice: Obviously, there is no guarantee these bags will still be available come Monday afternoon. Due to the soon–to–happen price increase, I'm told bags are flying off shelves (an excellent marketing strategy?). For those wishing to spare their wallets from any extra pain, I heard that the flagship boutique on 57th St. could get a new shipment this morning. So, best bet is to make that your first stop.
