Detailed Look: Prada Spring/Summer 2012

Here's a sentence I thought I would never say. Auto mechanic translates into sweet pastels, delicate silks, and flower blossoms. I guess when you are Miuccia Prada, anything is possible. To be frank, as talented as she is, a few pieces from her past several collections felt a bit too overwhelming for my taste. But this collection is different. Spring 2012 is fun, compelling, and downright exciting. I can see many Prada–obsessionistas rolling up in Miuccia's new automobile theme next spring.
