Vintage Dior

The curtain has finally closed for NYFW, and now the spotlight for Spring 2012 collections heads over the pond to Europe--eventually landing in Paris. And with this fact, I just can't help but think what will be the next step for the house of Dior. After all, everyone has be gossiping about who the new head designer (Marc Jacobs, perhaps) will be. So naturally, I had to look back to where it all began...to Mr. Christian Dior, himself. These vintage photos really are inspiring and prove how remarkable he was. I've been invited to fashion shows, but ohh~ how I would love to be seated in the front row in that 6th photo.
