*SAMPLE SALE* Bulgari

Early this year, news broke that the French luxury giant LVMH acquired Bulgari for $2.6B. I'm curious to see how this merger will affect the Bulgari sample sale this year. I'm hoping for better merchandise & discounts (my fingers are crossed). I guess we'll find out on November 19th.

Where: Soiffer Haskin, 317 W. 33rd St. (near 8th Ave.)

When: Saturday, November 19th through Tuesday, November 22nd. 9am~6:30pm

MizAdvice: The last Bulgari sample sale that I attended was in April '10. Click here, here, and here to read.

  7. Fellow Mizhattanites,

It would be sincerely appreciated if everyone wrote their first names or any pseudonym, by clicking 'Name/URL' under 'Comment as:' instead of choosing 'Anonymous'. This way I can better reply to your individual comments without any confusion.

Thank you for your cooperation :)

  8. Thanks for your post! Do you remember seeing any engagement rings or wedding bands at all? Thanks.

  9. Sizzy, in the past though there was jewelry there were no engagements rings/wedding bands at the sale. But since LVMH has taken control of Bulgari, things can change. I plan to attend so look out for the full Mizhattan report.

  11. Do you know if they'll be restocking every day? or do you suggest going on the first day morning??

  12. Hi excited!, as with any event I would suggest going on the first day for the greater variety of merchandise and the higher chance you'll find something you'll like. But on the flipside, if you wait till the end of SOME sample sales, there is always the benefit of lower prices. For this Bulgari sample sale, I recommend you go on the first day.

  15. I was lucky enough to have a friend who's a LVMH employee so he took me in without having to wait in line, but we saw the line, it was insanely long. There are a few wedding bands, but mostly in size 50 or 52. Bags are in 600 range, clutches are 200.

  16. Any men's bags? What men's stuff did they have and what prices?

  17. No men's bags but they did have the Matthew Williamson capsule collection! All the pieces were there -- the minaudières, clutches, hobos and those cute beach totes. The jewelry was a sad wasteland. If there were any good pieces, they were gone the first day. They still had watches and sunnies, nothing you haven't seen before.

The best deal were the Williamson bags, at least for me.
