Natalia & Her Moynat

A brief summary on Moynat. Founded in 1849, it is one of the oldest French trunk makers. Bernard Arnault of LVMH bought out the 19th century label in 2010 with plans to revive the brand. In December 2011, a Moynat boutique opened in Paris at 348 rue Saint-Honoré (near Hermès & Goyard).

Natalia Vodianova, who is dating Bernard Arnault's son, Antoine, was photographed carrying a black Pauline bag by Moynat--a brilliant marketing strategy--during Paris Fashion Week. Since I am a huge fan of Vodianova's impeccable style, that Pauline bag has been on my mind ever since I laid my eyes on it. Chic & classy! I can't wait to see it in New York someday.
