Good things come to those who wait. And my, haven't we waited long enough?! After being absent for 1 year, the epic Hermès sample sale is scheduled to return in September with a bang! That's right ladies & gents, Mizhattan is thrilled to announce the mother of all sample sales will kick off on September 5th (invite-only day). Since Hermès decided to skip this year's March sale, I'm hoping there will be greater & better merchandise this time. I highly suggest taking the next 3 weeks to really start saving every penny and preparing yourself for shopping mayhem by reading Mizhattan's past reports: March '11 & Sept. '11. Let the countdown begin!
Where: Soiffer Haskin, 317 W. 33rd St. (near 8th Ave.)
When: Wednesday, September 5th (VIP day)
Thursday, September 6th, 9am~7pm
Friday, September 7th, 9am~6pm
Saturday, September 8th, 9am~6pm

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! Thank you :o)
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first trip to this sale. Any words of wisdom for a newbie?
ReplyDeleteHow much do belts cost usually at the sample sale?
ReplyDeleteLeather belts were around $250 at previous sales.
DeleteWhats was the price range for bags and clothing?
ReplyDeleteRTW varies depending on the item. But I would say most items start above $600. For bags, small Garden Parties were around $500. I've written reviews for all the previous Hermès sample sales. So, read the reports to get a better feel on the pricing.
DeleteBy invite only?? How do we get an invite?
ReplyDeleteOnly the first day requires an invite. The other days are open to the public.
Deleterip offs!!
ReplyDeleteWhat does VIP day means ?do we have to pay or what's the story ?
ReplyDeleteYou need to receive an invite from Hermès in order to attend the sale on Sept. 5th. The sale opens to the public the next day.
DeleteDo we have to buy the tickets, how much ?
ReplyDeleteHow do I get the invite from Hermes ? Do I have to sign up somewhere or what, how it works ?
ReplyDeleteYou need to know someone in the fashion industry or have a relationship with one of their SAs.
DeleteDo you know if they have H clic bracelets or are they just bangles?
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
Will they have the H bracelets at the sample sale? If the retail price is $610 - $630, how much is the sample sale price?
ReplyDeleteI don't recall ever seeing H bracelets at a Hermès sample sale. There have been plenty of enamels but never any H ones.
DeleteDo they sell the belt buckles? If they do how much are they?
ReplyDeleteHow was it?? Please update! If I can't get there until 8:30 and have a friend line up for me early and switch out, that should be ok right? Or is that a no-no with security?
ReplyDeletePlease advise on how the sale is today. Do they have any bags, bracelets and ladies belts? If so, how much? Do you recommend going to the sale tomorrow and how long are the lines? Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteNo bags, no jewelry, no belts, no wallets, no ties, no scarves. All they have are RTW, shoes, china plates and crystal glasses.
ReplyDeleteSo not worth it! Clothes only about 60% off retail and the styles were not worth the look. Shoes were about 45% off retail but limited styles in my view. Older styles. China and crystal was about 40% off retail, but I saw some with nicks or tiny cracks. Be careful!
ReplyDeleteNo bracelets at all, so if your going in hopes of getting one, don't bother. No wallets, no bags, no belts, no perfume, no scarves, no ties, no clips.
If your not going for clothes or crystal, don't bother.
was NO sale for last March regarding Hermes?
ReplyDeleteYes, there was no March 2013 Hermès sample sale. I wrote published an article about it. CLICK HERE to read.
