Portraits of Style

I'm an enormous admirer of David Downton's work. The way he illustrates and captures the character & essence of his models (influential style icons) is incredible and admiring. If you read the September issue of Vanity Fair, you may recognize these 5 portraits illustrated by David Downton. Though I've already spent numerous hours starring at these images, I still can't get enough of his brilliance. Oh~ how I would give anything to draw like that!
