*SAMPLE SALE* In Da Club

Known for their practical well-made clothes, Club Monaco kicked off their spring sample sale today in Midtown. From office wear to weekend wear alike, the label usually offers lovely basics that never disappoint. I've only attended the company's sample sales at their corporate office, so I was curious what kind of deals & merchandise would be available at Clothingline.

First and foremost, everything was reasonably priced. From beach-ready summer frocks to cozy knits that you can throw on in an air-conditioned office, the showroom of Clothingline was stocked with Club Monaco's merchandise. Prices for women started at $10 for basic tees & tops. Cashmere sweaters were $60, skirts were $25, pants were $30, dresses were $40, blazers were $60, and outerwear was priced $95 & up.

Shoes and accessories were displayed on the right side of the floor just before the men's section. Here, I found ankle boots & sandals from Rachel Comey. Prices for shoes ranged from $20~$109. Accessories (scarves, shawls, straw fedoras, belts, gloves, socks, and ties) were placed inside cardboard boxes on a large table. As for handbags, I spotted a few canvas & raffia bags but the selection was not appealing.

Men's merchandise was situated on the back right corner. There were T-shirts ($10), polos ($10), sweaters ($60), shorts ($20), blazers ($60), and outerwear ($95) to choose from. This sale will run through Friday so if you plan on going, check out the photos and complete price list below.

  1. How was sizing? I heard that there aren't any size 2s and 4s

    1. I found smaller sizes for both men & women when I was there at opening. Could have all been taken though as the crowds had gathered by the time I left.

  2. very few smaller sizes. Mostly 10s and 12s and once in a while you'll find an 8. (Went on Tuesday around noon)

  3. I read that there aren't any fitting rooms. Are there at least some mirrors?

    1. I didn't see a fitting room nor any mirrors. But I do know that Clothingline does have a fitting room near the entrance, though I'm not sure if they open it up to customers for every event.

  4. Went today..if you dig you'll come up with a few great deals. Prices are slashed by about $10... blazers $40 skirts $15 belts $5 dresses $25 at those prices you justify the buy :-)! Came out with a great blazer with leather details, pants with the same detail and a few skirts. 10 items $150. Not bad. If you have time, swing buy. Due note, the sizes are mostly 10s and 12s
