Ladies, I hold in my possession the date for the spring 2013 Manolo Blahnik sample sale. The not-to-be-missed sale for shoe lovers everywhere will take place on May 9th at the Warwick Hotel. YAY! As you know, the Manolo Blahnik sample sale is easily one of the biggest designer shoe sales that NYC has to offer. That is why I highly suggest you take a shot of your favorite caffeinated drink and get to the venue at the crack of dawn if you want to shop a wider and better selection of drool-worthy Manolos. After all, basic heels will start at a mind-boggling 100 dollars and you'll definitely have to elbow your way through a countless number of crazed and hoarding shoppers to grab these deals. So my fellow Mizhattanites, clear your schedule and get ready to meet your new sole mate!
P.S: As a primer, you should definitely read (or at least see all the wonderful photos of shoes) the full Mizhattan reports from the previous Manolo Blahnik sample sales: May '12, May '11, Nov '10, April '10.

BB pumps are hard to find. There are mounds upon mounds of merchandise all wrapped up in plastic bags. Early VIPs usually grab the good ones. But you never know! In the past, shoppers have found that hidden gem way way beneath the piles of shoes.
DeleteWhat is the likeliness of getting in at the end of the first day. Have they been known to open the doors to the general public at the end of the VIP day? And if so, what time would you suggest lurking around to try to see if they do let people in?
ReplyDeleteManolo just recently changed to a 2 day system. In the past, it was always 1 day with VIPs in the morning and the public in the afternoon. There is no anecdotal precedent to go by. You can wait around and try to talk you way in, but I would much rather go on the second day early in the morning.

ReplyDeleteThere were flats, just not many. Most of the inventory is comprised of sandals, stilettos, and booties. There are some kitten heels.

ReplyDeleteCash only. Sizes range from 35-42.
