*SAMPLE SALE* Céline

Forget Christian Louboutin, there's a far better and more exclusive sample sale in town. At first I thought it was only a rumor as it sounded too good to be true and let it go. But after speaking with my source inside LVMH, I can say with certainty that Céline is currently hosting a super sub rosa sample sale in Midtown. The sale, as you might have guessed, is only opened to employees of the French luxury goods giant. Invited guests will be required to show their company IDs to enter. This means non-invitees will need more than luck to gain access to all the goodies. But desperate times call for desperate measures. If you know anyone working (corporate or retail) at one of LVMH's brands--Louis Vuitton, Céline, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Donna Karan, Emilio Pucci, or Christian Dior--now is the time to cash in that favor he/she owes you. Why? Do you even have to ask?! I'm told there will be Céline handbags discounted up to 90% off! That's why!

P.S. For the first time, I'm leaving out the address of the venue as there is no point of dropping by. Asking a LVMH employee to get you something is your only bet.

  4. In line right now. Discounts are as follows:

    Bags 60% off
    SLGS 70% off
    Shoes 75% off
    RTW 70% off

If you're not invited, don't bother, they check business cards, pay stubs, AND IDs before letting you in.

  13. I have a friend who works at LVMH and said it is strictly employees only-- no friends or family allowed. It's mostly accessories and they are still pricey. Lots of cabas totes and security is tight!

  15. Is the sale still going on today? Thanks!

  16. Don't feel too bad, it was still very expensive, I didn't see bags for less than $800, RTW was 70% off retail but that still leaves the cheapest items at around $300, and shoes were probably the only thing worth buying, also around $300
