Hair & Makeup Inspiration: Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2013

Valentino's Fall '13 Haute Couture was presented last week and I was completely smitten with the collection. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli truly are the masters of couture. As always, the gowns, dresses, coats, skirts, and jackets in luxurious embroideries & sumptuous prints took the spotlight. But I particularly loved the understated hair and makeup used in this collection. Braided headbands and almost bare pink makeup looked as opulent as the clothes. Plus, it's so refreshing to see a couture show that stays away from the usual over-the-top heavy makeup routine. Take notes, future brides! More looks after the break.
