*SAMPLE SALE* Gaga over Alejandro

Summer is slowly winding down but fashion-obsessed New Yorkers still have some late summer shopping to look forward to this week. Known for designing racy but pricey stilettos, Alejandro Ingelmo kicked off a 3-day long sample sale at their showroom in Soho today. For anyone looking to add a little va-va-voom to your outfit, here comes a taste of Ingelmo heaven.

From delicate cutout lace up sandals to classic patent pumps, Alejandro Ingelmo's intimate showroom was filled with the designer's sexified shoes. When I first walked in, Ingelmo's past season collections were divided into two sections. One of them was a large glass table situated in the back center of the room. On top of the table were various $100 shoes. Here, I spotted rounded toe pumps, mid top Tron sneakers, Penny pumps, kitten heel pumps, wedge booties, and sky high platforms. Again, everything you see on the glass table was $100. Needless to say, if you're on a tight budget, you might want to spend your time browsing here first.

For those who have a little extra cash to spare, there was also a large drawer used as a display case which was situated on the left side of the showroom. Higher priced stilettos & boots were smoking hot and definitely worth a look. Many standout pieces such as Athena pumps, Boomerang pumps, rounded toe slingbacks, tiger print booties, glittery evening pumps, and Collider cage sandals were available. Prices on these heels were $150, $200, or $250. As for sizes, there were two nice sale associates who were more than willing to accommodate each shopper. So make sure to ask them if you want to try on a pair.

As exciting as today's sale was, Ingelmo's designs aren't for everyone. With most of his heels topping a dangerously sky high 5~6 inches, Alejandro's skyscraper-heels aren't exactly comfy. But for shoeaholics who are willing to sacrifice pain to look as hot as any pop diva, you just might find the perfect pair at that perfect bargain price. Just make sure to check out the sale before it ends on Wednesday.

  1. His shoes are agony for my feet, unfortunately! Not worth it at any price.

    1. I saw a few pearlized leather pumps, if that's what you mean.
