*SAMPLE SALE* See a Sea of C. Wonder

Whether you're looking to perk up your apartment or brighten up your wardrobe, newly launched C. Wonder offers a diverse assortment of everyday items at affordable prices. Today, the lively and cheeky lifestyle brand hosted its first-ever sample sale and I was curious to see what sample sale número 1 would be like. Ladies & gentlemen, get ready to see a sea of C. Wonder.

Bright and early this morning, I attended the preview for the C. Wonder sample sale. In keeping with the spirit of the company, the showroom was transformed into a shopping playground. From polka-dots to playful lipstick prints to colorful stripes, C. Wonder's festive products were everywhere. And speaking of festivity, I found many great options for anyone looking to get started on their holiday shopping. Christmas ornaments, cozy throws, sparkly jewelry, everyday carryalls, and colorful decor products definitely got me in the mood for the soon-to-be-here holidays. There was even something for your pet(s). An adorable selection of dog sweaters, pet bowls, and treats jar brought a smile to my face.

Now that I mentioned the holiday gifts, you'll want to know about the discounts. The price list was simple and easy to remember. In the apparel section, sweaters, denims, skirts, shorts were all $50. Dresses were $65 while jackets & coats were $75. In the home decor section, pillows & throws were $25, dinner napkins & placemats were $25, Christmas ornaments were $10, and mugs & glassware were $5. As for shoes, summer sandals, pointy toe flats, smoking slippers, cap-toe ballet flats, wedge pumps, patent pumps, driving shoes, and leather boots were all $50. Like I said, simple. Moving on, prices on accessories were $25 & under while jewelry pieces were $30 & under. Handbags were available in Easy totes, leather strap hobos, printed stripe totes, and minaudières. Handbags and luggages were $45.

OK. Now, the inventory. The clothing section was located on the left side wall and was comprised of tank tops, sweaters, trench coats, blouses, skirts, denims, and dresses. Though the selection was abundant, sizes were limited. If you're size 6 & up, you'll have no problem at this sale. Size 4 & below will have to do some digging.

While browsing today's offerings, I was happy to find that many of the sample sale items are currently being sold at full price(!) on C. Wonder's website. The heart print sweater, for instance, was $50 at today sale ($88 online). Also, the herringbone easy tote was $45 ($78 online), porcelain dog treats jar was $10 ($40 online), animal ceramic plates were $15 ($38 online), and quilted nylon jacket was $75 ($128 online).

This week's C. Wonder sample sale ends this Saturday. I will make sure to keep everyone updated if prices drop as the sale progresses. Check out the full price list at the end of this article.

  4. I went yesterday at 5pm and almost none of the really great stuff you have pictured was left. It was the first day of the sale so it was sad to see nothing so desirable. People were only buying 1 or 2 items, most leaving empty-handed. Here's what I found: http://hauteonthespot.blogspot.com/2013/11/review-of-cwonder-sample-sale.html
