Thx Mizzy! I've been waiting for details on Tibi and Theory.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure! I hope you get something nice!
DeleteIs this a first for Jenny P..
ReplyDeleteThe sale flyer I received didn't specify, but I think it is their 1st sample sale in NYC.
Deletehas anyone been to vivienne tam? curious.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I haven't heard any word from inside the sale. Maybe one of our kind readers who went can chime in and give us all an update.
Deletewent in last night. just a few shoppers. pricing from $20 (smaple) to about $250 (outerwear). decent selection - RTW 2012 Fall. Sizing tends to favor 4-6; A few bags and lots of shawls.
DeleteThank you for letting us know!
DeleteWill there be a preview day for Tibi? If so, are they strict at the door? Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe preview is on the morning of. The door is pretty lax though.
DeleteARE THERE VARIETY OF M.A.C. ON REBECCA MINKOFF SALE TODAY?
ReplyDeleteI CAN GO THERE AROUND 6:30 AND DO YOU THINK I CAN GET ONE OF THEM?
I just came back. I waited 45 min in line to pay. They did have macs in a variety of colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know! I appreciate it very much!!
DeleteDo you have any information on the Hache and Ter sample sales tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteThe Hache, Ter et Bantine sample sale will start tomorrow (11/13) and run until Friday (11/15). 10am-5pm. 50 Greene St. 2nd Fl. 70% off.
DeleteHas anyone been to the Inhabit sale? If so- pricing/ samples vs. stock? Thanks!
ReplyDeletehas anyone been to the Tibi sale yet? trying to figure out if i should get the Gilt city deal for it lol
ReplyDeleteRacked NY has a pretty good review of the sale.
DeleteDid anyone check out the Noir sample sale? I feel like I've been disappointed by the last few sales so I was waiting for a report before I decided whether or not to go.
ReplyDeleteIt was so-so. Nothing to get too excited about.
DeleteHi, I am at the Jenny Packham sale and no one is here to open the door. I got in because there were cleaning people that let me in but I dont think there is anyone at the sale. Can you confirm the time and location with your contact? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI sincerely apologize. The Jenny Packham sale starts at 10am not 8am. I fixed the error in the article.
DeleteVery disappointed because I took today off to come to this sale and potentially buy my wedding dress.
ReplyDeleteAgain, I sincerely apologize for the mistake. Hope you're not too upset. Congratulations on your wedding! :)
DeleteHi, it's not your fault because there were several others that came later that said their sources stated 8 am. Many including myself were upset that they distributed the wrong information including the time and the fact that the sale did not include bridal.
DeleteThere were probably 10-15 pieces for each incremental size (i.e. 10-15 for size 2-4, for size 6-8, and so forth) and were overpriced for a sample sale (400-2000something). Also, the quality of materials used wasn't that great in general and colors were a bit off, like bright red or bright fuchsia.
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a good time. I hope you find the dress you want. Maybe you should drop by the Johanna Johnson sample sale. Details: CLICK HERE.
DeleteWent to the inhabit sale last night. Once inside it looks like a cashmere explosion! There are unpacked boxes on top of boxes of sweaters all over the place with sizes all mixed in. It takes a lot of perseverance and love of cashmere to find something here but if you are looking for some basic solid colored v-neck and crews for women you should definitely check it out. Last night all cashmere was priced at $80 still not that cheap in my book but i guess their sweaters retail for $300. The mens section if very sparse. Lots of cardigans in Mediums and XXL sizes. Today is the last day so i'm thinking they may lower that $80 price (i'm not sure) which if thats the case I would definitely recommend going since there was lots of stock.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update! I really appreciate it!!
DeleteMy advice skip Tibi and Christopher Fischer. Tibi was so picked over today in the early afternoon. No small sizes left - was very disappointed and thank god I did not buy the Gilt deal. Christopher Fischer was not so great either, very basic stuff V-neck/Crew neck single color, just alright.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know!
DeleteAny markdowns Rebecca M yet?
ReplyDeleteI am also here to ask it!
DeleteAnybody go to the armani ss? What is the selection and pricing like?
ReplyDeleteIf you like Elie Tahari this week's sale was very nice. Today was the last day, they reduced additional 30% off - $40 tops, $70 dresses. Even after additional 30% there was no line and they had tons and tons of merchandise.
