*SAMPLE SALE* Early Word from Proenza Schouler Sale: No Bags!

It sounds like tomorrow's Proenza Schouler sample sale might be a bust for PS1 & PS11 lovers. I received word from a fellow Mizhattanite who attended the F&F portion today and she alerted me to the fact that there were no handbags available. Knowing the brand rarely replenishes sample sale merchandise (from my past experiences), it might not be worth the trip if you're only looking for a bag or two. The RTW section, however, sounded a bit more optimistic and enticing. I'm told there were many standout pieces from Proenza Schouler's Resort '13 through to Fall '13 collections. If you're interested in attending tomorrow, the doors will open at 9am at 76 Mercer Street.

  2. Hee hee. I'm looking forward to going anyway, and hope the lack of bags means a shorter line, or none at all. Call my Pollyanna . . .

  3. There wasn't a long line this morning at the Friends and Family portion and very few bags – maybe 12 – and they were gone in 10 minutes. The employee sale was yesterday. Perhaps most of the bags were grabbed then. Also, there is some gorgeous stuff at the sale but all pricey. Not that many samples left. There's also a ton of denim for $50. The JBrand splattered jeans collab is pretty nice. If you have money to spend, you should definitely check out the sale but if you're on a budget this isn't the sale for you

  5. I stopped by around 10AM. No line. Little crowd. Wow. Expensive! I got the very last pair of JBrand collab paint splattered jeans for 50 and ran away.
