Valentino Spring 2014 Couture
Valentino's Spring '14 Couture Collection completely took my breath away. Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli took inspiration from the Roman Opera House and masterfully crafted dresses using butterflies, feathers, tutus, animal motifs, safari details, and a Garden of Eden scene. Each look that the designers sent down the runway looked truly incredible. Absolute works of styling art, I must say. Don't you agree?

Absolutely. I have always loved Valentino--but this spring collection really impressed me. Aspirational and imaginative and, frankly, wearable. I wish my life and lifestyle would allow me to indulge in these pieces!
ReplyDeleteI know. A girl can only dream...
Deleteabsolutely stunning. and those shoes-- wow!
ReplyDeletei have to say, the 4th picture from the bottom is the bjork swan dress reimagined in the best possible way.
You're right! Nice observation.
DeleteAgreed about the swan dress! A deliberate effort, I think and gorgeous. I think Katy Perry wore a version of the musical notes dress to the Grammy's.
ReplyDeleteI saw it too. I didn't like the dress on her though.
