Any long time sample sale veteran knows that Cynthia Steffe's blowout bargain bonanza is quite the fashion-hungry crowd pleaser. With the brand's RTW priced $50 & under, the sale attracts shoppers from all parts of the city and inevitably turns into a whirlwind of commotion and chaos. Well, I hope you pre-prepare for the oncoming mayham because, according to my sample sale forecast, the Cynthia Steffe sample sale is set to return this weekend. Unlike previous years where the sale lasted 2 days, I'm told this time around it will go on for nearly a week's length. In addition, the event will feature merchandise from Vince Camuto. Happy Shopping!

ReplyDeleteDid anyone go to this sample sale? I could not find the place by 307 W. 38th St. (bet. 8th & 9th Ave.). Did they change the place? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteDid you perhaps go yesterday? As I stated in the schedule, the sale was closed on Sunday.
DeleteIt resumes today and runs until Friday.
DeleteMiz, thanks for the reply. I will check out today. Thanks again.
DeleteHas anyone been to the sale, what is it like prices and selection? I went last year the last 2 days and it was definetly a good sale.
ReplyDeletei went today at lunch time, there was no line, all tops/blouse are $15, shorts/skirts are $10, jackets are $25, you just need to be careful shoppin lots of dresses were torn or undone, limited choices. The place is where they had the previous Louboutin sample sale.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your reporting!
DeleteI also went to day. the address is more like 309 or 311 s 38 its a couple of doors down from 307.
ReplyDeleteWhen i was there at lunch they kept bring more and more racks and boxes of stuff. One of the cashiers also said they may be opening up the flopr above. i guess they have a lot to get rid off. No confirmation on price reductions.
Thank you so much for letting us know!
DeleteWent back this morning. prices reduced everything $5 except dresses for $15. i love this sale and every year it screws me up for work.. i should just starting taking the day off. I walked out with 22 items for $110. As i was leaving around 11:35 they did in fact open up the second floor, as I mentioned above. The temptation was too much but had to get to work. I suspect everything will be picked over by today. if you are looking for basic work clothes, definetly the place to go. At $5/$15 you can't go wrong. If youa are looking for stylish designer items this is not the sale for you. if you are looking for basic work clothes and casual pieces this is the sale for you. with that said there are 1 or 2 unique finds, but the bulk of the materials are everyday work and casual wear.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for such a detailed update. I hope you enjoy your 22 new items!!
