Yesterday, I received word from a fellow Mizhattanite (BIG THANKS to beens!) that French luxury fashion house Balenciaga is once again hosting their bi-annual sample sale at their corporate showroom in the far western side of Chelsea. The event is exclusively for invited guests (read: there is a well dressed man with a clipboard). The sale selection will include apparel, bags, and a limited selection of shoes at discounts of roughly 75% off. Obviously, sneaking into private events like this one will need more than luck but never say never as a few lucky Mizhattanites have been able to charm their way in at previous sales.
Where: 542 W. 22nd St. (bet. 10th & 11th Ave.)
When: Tuesday, May 19th. 9am~5pm

Hi Miz. My contact at Balenciaga said the sale ended May 15th.

DeleteI attended this sale last Monday and I believe it ran all of last week. If it is still going on, it is probably not worth going as I know some people who went late last week and said the selection was very depleted.

it is indeed happening today till seven. Selection and prices disappointing, however. More expensive than last sale. I purchased one dress for $399, down from about $2,000.
