A Peek Inside

In desperate hopes of boosting sales (Prada reportedly loss 40% in net income since the end of the first quarter), Miuccia Prada and her team created a new handbag christened 'Inside'. The brand's new arm candy, which will hit the market later this month, comes in three sizes (small, medium, and large) and in various materials like nappa leather, ostrich, & crocodile. Prices will range from $2,415 to $39,760. A zipped pouch interior gives an impression of a bag inside a bag which makes it unique and interesting but I'm not completely convinced that it will be the next IT bag as Prada is pushing it to be. What do you think, ladies? Would you consider buying this bag?

  1. Ah, I feel like this isn't a good idea. We're ending up with less carrying room for the size of the bag, and the bag will be heavier. I don't think the novelty of the contrasting colors will be worth it. It's too bad. I feel like Prada is capable of better than this.

  2. It's a novel idea wasted on an unattractive shape. You can not carry this underarm and the price point isn't necessarily enticing or any different than their current offering. Seems a waste.

  3. What a horrible name. What the heck is Inside?? Fail.

  4. I don't like the slouchiness. Needs a bit of structure. It just doesn't look as expensive otherwise, and doesn't justify the cost for me.

  5. It doesn't look like it will age well and that's a big problem considering its price. Prada went too out of the box on this one.

  6. It's a waste of space. Prada needs to look into edgy hardware and chic multi-functionality of a bag.

  7. I do NOT like bags that I can not wear over my shoulders

  8. The bags looks like a purse ate an oversized makeup pouch and can't keep it down.
