After years of reporting on Hermès price increases, I never thought I would see the day the luxury brand would DECREASE prices. Well, it's true, ladies and gents! The French fashion house is currently undergoing price adjustments in the US market to keep on par with the Euro and it's affecting scarves, jewelry, and ties. In the jewelry section, Collier de Chien bracelets in leather are now $1,150 (originally $1,275), Kelly Double Tour bracelets are now $510 (originally $560), and Clic Clac H bracelets are now $660 (originally $730). Prices on silk scarves also dropped $20~$110 depending on the style while ties are down $20. Handbags, unfortunately, are not included in the price reductions as of now but, according to a few sources inside the company, it's never out of the question if the Euro continues to fall (see previous article on handbag price comparison between US and Paris). If they do, I will make sure to keep everyone updated. Meanwhile, if you recently purchased something from their scarf, jewelry, or tie department, Hermès will honor price adjustments so make sure to ask.
