Ladies, be prepared to carry your boots in your hands, because they do not have bags that fit boot boxes, only medium size bags.
Prices are range from $250 to 400, which means half price. Not a bargain.
Mostly sky high heels. Overall attitude like they sell you gold for the price of silver.

ReplyDeleteThere's a line outside right now (abt 30 ppl, not counting the inevitable line inside) for the last day of the Armani sale.
ReplyDeleteUpdate: they haven't let anyone inside in over 30 min, and the line has grown to over 50 ppl deep.

Sorry, I didn't take any photos, but the stock was comparable to what they've had at the Armani sample sale in the past couple of years.

The total wait time ended up being about 1.5 hours, but I think it was worth it, since most of the women's clothes were marked down to 85% off, and men's clothes were marked down to 80% off (except for the Armani Jeans line). Not much was left in terms of women's accessories, but men's ties were marked down to $39 each (from $69, at the start of the sale).

ReplyDeleteJust an update on the Bvlgari sale. The wait in the morning was miserable. I think folks who came around 8:30 ended up getting in around 11:30. Lots of fragrances. Discontinued watches were plentiful, especially men's selections. 65% off. Rings, earrings, and necklaces, but no classic pieces, certainly no be zero 1 except for the hoop earrings and some leather strap watches.
ReplyDeleteThe Bvlgari sale experience was terrible today. I walked by around 1:30pm, saw a looong line, and decided to skip it. Came back on impulse a little after 5pm, got in after 20-30 minutes, only to find the perfume table practically empty - at least, for the women's perfume. Of course, the particular perfume I wanted was sold out. I had to ask several sales associates to find out that there's a shipment expected tomorrow morning, but the perfume I want may not be in it. Or if it is, it may be in some sort of a set, instead of being sold by itself.
ReplyDeleteI understand that it was the end of a long day for the staff, but I found them to be terribly rude. Some just didn't want to answer any questions and kept passing me off to other sales associates. And then when I tried to read the old signs of the merchandise that had sold out to see what perfumes had been in stock, one associate told me I was not "allowed" to read those signs. The signs were just sitting at the back table, and I was just looking over to try to read them, and she made it seem like I was trying to sneak a look at some proprietary information. It was all very odd, and I walked out vowing not to go to any more Soiffer Haskin sales. I haven't had good experiences at the venue for a while now, and reading accounts of the recent Hermes sample sales didn't help.
Last night at 6pm no line. Lots of fragrances 70% off retail, lots of watches, bags some jewelry but old collection from 2007 65%off. Not a bad sale if you like the Bvlgari

ReplyDeleteExpect discounts , normally means don't expect bargain. I wish there was a website for sample sales only (70% and up discounts). Most of the posting do not qualify for a sample sale , more like a regular sale .
