The sun is shining, temps are rising, and the snow is melting. Do you know what that means? It's a perfect day to go shoe shopping! Manolo Blahnik's posh little boutique on 54th Street is in the midst of winter markdowns and almost the entire store is on sale for half off. For that reason, I spent yesterday afternoon at the Midtown shoe heaven and perused their sale offerings so that I could indulge in some much-needed shoe retail therapy.
The 50% off markdowns kicked off this Monday but, despite this irresistible bargain, the ambiance inside Manolo Blahnik's Midtown boutique was quite subdued with only a couple of shoppers looking through the sale selection. Beginning my sole searching, I found this year's discounted inventory to be truly amazing with tons of classic designs on offer. Satin Hangisi pumps in pastel colors, BB pumps in suede and patent leather, Okkava satin pumps, Umice criss cross pumps, Clausado bow pumps, Kidskin slingbacks, and Foka round toe pumps are just a few of the many designs I spotted on sale.
As of yesterday, sizes were plentiful (even on classic styles!) but this may not be the case when final markdowns hit. Speaking of, the season-ending, last price cuts will begin in just two weeks at the start of the second week of February. You can expect discounts to reach around 70% off when that happens. And finally, for your viewing pleasure, here are some photos I took yesterday while shopping. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Miz, thank you for posting this amazing sale. Would you by any chances remember if Manolo has lots of sizes left for the Satin Hangisi style. Is the Satin Hangisi style about 30% off? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe satin Hangisi pumps were mostly in size 39 and up. They were 50% off.
DeleteThank you for the pics! As a size 42 I usually have decent luck at 70% off. I just window shopped with your pics for my future purchases. What did you get? And are there a booties?
ReplyDeleteYes, without a doubt, if you're a size 42, waiting until the last price cut is a wise choice. As for booties, they had several different styles like buckles, fur-trims, lace-ups, and peep-toes.
Deletehi Miz!
ReplyDeletedo you know how much the red, and black satan pumps with the jewels were in your in your 9th pic were? and if they had these in 37/37.5? thanks
They were marked down to a little under $500 (that doesn't include tax). Sorry but I didn't check the sizes on the Okkava.
