Owning a Gabriela Hearst Nina bag is harder to get than a Birkin. You can't buy it at a store or online. In fact, the only way you can purchase it is by emailing the designer and she will decide whether to make you one (and mind you, the bag has a very long waitlist). But when you're Miroslava Duma, apparently, you can have several. The Russian street style star was seen with the Nina in several different colors and materials, and she's recently been carrying this oxblood crocodile version. As far as prices, the basic calf leather style goes for $1,995 while the crocodile is $12,000. I've been hearing mixed opinions regarding the bag but what do you think, ladies? Do you think the Nina bag is worth the exclusivity and hype? Drop a line and share your thoughts.
Really unimpressed. Just another hyped status symbol for people with too much money who need to keep score.
ReplyDeleteLooks great on bloggers and in photos, but the reality of it is that is very unpractical. I will agree with the first comment - is only for people who have to have it just because is the IT BAG of the moment.

ReplyDeleteThe color of the bag is beautiful and I love a croc skin but she must not be in the business of making real money if she's only selling it to who she wants. I have a exotic skin business and I could make that bag or much larger croc bag for 1/2 the price. Some of these fashion people are so full of themselves and so self important
