*SAMPLE SALE* Bone to Be Wild

After skipping their usual June event at Chelsea Market, and also hosting a joint sample sale with Steven Alan in Brooklyn last month, some bargain hunters may have been wondering if Rag & Bone would completely forgo their own standalone NYC sample sale this summer. Well, to put your mind at rest, the good news is that the brand is indeed holding their bi-annual bargain bash, and it starts today at Chelsea Market. I checked out the sale this morning and the ambiance inside was as wild as it has always been, with discounted merchandise filling up the space and fans of the label busily running around picking up things. So, if you're looking for adventure, get your motor runnin' and let's see what shopping deals are coming your way courtesy of the Rag & Bone sample sale.

Inside the Chelsea Market venue, shoppers were swarming around the women's shoes section (a totally normal scene at any Rag & Bone sale) which was situated in the corner next to the registers. Here, you'll find various designs like Elda sandals, Classic Newbury booties, Harrow suede booties, Wyatt perforated sandals, Noa espadrilles, Tristan mules, Genoa buckled sandals, Damien suede wedges, Shaw wedge mules, Kent slip-on sneakers, and more. Markdowns on footwear started at $125 for flats and went up to $175 for heels and $225 for boots.

The sale's handbag selection consisted of Camden pouches, Pilot backpacks, Bradbury chain strap shoulder bags, Flight satchels, Aston buckets, and Aston satchels. In terms of prices, all handbags were $200.

Additional accessories such as hats, gloves, SLGs, and scarves were also available at today's sale. Small leather goods in the form of wallets, card holders, and cosmetic pouches were $100, while everything else in the accessory department was $60.

Women's apparel carried racks upon racks of dresses, skirts, pants, blouses/shirts, and outerwear. In addition, there was a large center table that held tees and knits. Markdowns on Collection pieces included sweaters and shirts for $125, shorts and skirts for $100, tees for $65, dresses for $175, jackets for $175, and coats for $250. As for the brand's lower-priced line, /JEAN, sweaters and shirts were $80, shorts and skirts were $65, tees were $35, leather skirts were $200, leather jackets were $300, and dresses were $95. Per usual, you can see the full price list at the end of this article.

Menswear, shoes, and accessories were laid out on the lower level just like their previous sales. Pants were $100, blazers were $225, shirts were $100, coats were $300, leather jackets were $495, sweaters were $85, tees were $35 & $40, shoes were $165 & $225, bags were $200, and accessories (hats, belts, ties, and scarves) were $40.

With the brand currently offering end-of-season discounts online and at their boutiques and department stores, you might not score the best deals at this week's 6-day long sample sale. Therefore, if you want to be a super savvy bargain shopper, my MizAdvice is to do a quick price research before you head out. Otherwise, wait for further reductions which will take effect towards the end of the week.
