While many luxury brands are having a tough year in 2016, Gucci's success shows no signs of slowing down. Kering revealed their sales figures earlier this week which shows a significant growth in revenue during the last three months. Therefore, you can imagine how much trend-conscious shoppers want a piece of Gucci right now. And if you happen to be one of the lucky few, you are most probably in line at this moment in front of the brand's annual sample sale happening at Soiffer Haskin. The sale opens today to employees while F&F and invited guests will have to wait until tomorrow. Judging by last year's sample sale, I doubt Gucci will let the public in, but in any case, I will make sure to be on the look out for any possible miracles.

Hi Mizhattan - did you mean to post Oct 30 instead of Nov 30?
ReplyDeleteMizhattan, I heard if there is anything left. Tuesday, will be open to the general public.
DeleteMan last years fighting in the comments was epic. Can't wait for this year
ReplyDeleteThx Miz :( I LUCKED out last year since a family member was on the list and she shopped for her and I and at that time, things were 85%-90% off!!. I have asked her every month since!! Well, she found out 3 weeks ago and was told by her friend that they were really limiting the amount of names they were adding to the F & F list so she was not added this year. I hear the selection is pretty good as well. Siiiiigh :( :( :( :(
ReplyDeleteHi harlem77,
DeleteSince the brand is doing so well, it seems it's getting tougher to get into their sample sales. I also heard the selection is good so that sux.
Yeah.. I put in a request for a few things should my cousins friend attend so we shall see.. Again... SIIIIIGH!lol
Deletewhen is the sale? (not that I'll get in lol!)

ReplyDeleteNo. 175 max. Been online since 1030 still outside
ReplyDeletei am confused, is this sale employee only, or the first day is employee only? is it open to public now?
ReplyDeleteemployee and invited guest only
DeleteGuests. Name has to be on the list
ReplyDeleteCan anyone give an update on the line please
ReplyDeletethe line is ridiculous. by 12pm - those who were waiting since 4am are still in the line. i've given up.
ReplyDeleteThe private Gucci sale might have been worse than the public Hermes one.
DeleteLess than 100 online now. Got here at 1030,just made it inside at 5
ReplyDeletelast year they had a time limit - this year there wasnt one. people were there shopping for like 3 hours. it was cold, i was miZZerable.
ReplyDeletewhat was inside, deets!
ReplyDeletei had a friend that went yesterday
ReplyDeletewaited in line 12 hours and found there was nothing much
inside to pick from
doors opened at 10
she was in by 11 and the selection was slim
need invitation?
ReplyDeleteLined up at 5:45 am. Went in 2:30 pm. Ridiculous. And by that time it wasn't worth it! No bags left, hardly any womens shoes (and plenty of them used), no childrens, a few racks of random clothes. They had plenty of watches, jewelry though. I would suggest if you're not the first 100 people there, forget it.
