Before opening her eponymous line in 2012, Parisian-born designer Myriam Schaefer worked for high-profile fashion houses like Balenciaga, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior and others. Since launch, Schaefer's line of meticulously handcrafted bags (all made in Italy) has continued to draw attention as in-the-know insiders flock to the brand. I personally love the designer's artistic taste which can be defined as clean, discreet, and timeless. You can visit her website to see more of her work, and if you're interested in purchasing, Bergdorf Goodman, The Line, Fivestory, and Farfetch all currently carry the label. As a warning against sticker shock, keep in mind her prices are comparable to Hermès. But the good news is Tibi recently unveiled their handbag collection co-designed with Myriam which has a much more affordable price point. So, have a look at them as well.
