DeleteIt was a great sale! Everything is inexpensive and really stylish pieces. You have to hunt though but it's worth it. One downside is everything is mostly mediums. Got a blazer and three sweaters for 70

ReplyDeleteAgreed, women's selection was ehh and PRICEY! But for men it was a HOMERUN! Tuxedo was found for my husband in 5 minutes, two sport jackets and 3 button down shirts for the cost of a suit! Well worth the schlep!

DeleteI went yesterday... Honestly nothing that special. I bought a White Leather Bomber that retailed for 1000 for 259... Other than that nothing stuck out and it was mostly the same merchandise from the last sale.
DeleteIf you are looking for a gown--def go. They had some really beautiful ones! Otherwise I would wait, from what I remember I think they reduce the prices towards the end of the sale.

DeletePrices at La Perla were about the same as last time - got there at 1PM yesterday and many items, esp. the smaller size bras, and garters were almost wiped out. The bustiers,lounge wear and some lovely RTW were highlights, not many bodysuits this time around disappointingly. Purchased a RTW corset (original price was $1000+), 2 pairs of silk PJ pants, a triangle bra w/ matching garter and 2 panties to match a bra I already owned for just under $450. Best X-Mas present to myself (and husband?)! Staff was unclear about restocking, but to be honest, most of the lingerie was picked over by the time I left and people were checking out with piles of stuff. If you are interested in shoes (in the back) or swimwear (to the left upon entrance), there was plenty of both remaining. Some random La Perla men stuff was also tucked in a corner, but the selection was slim. Assume like all 260 Sample Sales there will be reductions on the last day, but unless they restock, it may not be worth it to wait! As a reminder: NO dressing rooms so dress...wisely.

If you are looking for Holiday or Birchwood Pine go but otherwise wait till Wednesday when prices are to be reduced.
